Musk claims Social Security is a "gigantic magnet to attract illegal immigrants."

In fact, immigrants here illegally do not collect Social Security. But they pay $25.7 billion a year into it, a recent study found, so these undocumented workers are actually subsidizing Americans.

Smashing a window at the US Capitol in order to overthrow an election = patriotism.
Smashing a window at a Tesla dealership in Des Moines = domestic terrorism.
President Trump says that he is going to label incidents of violence/vandalism at Tesla dealerships as “domestic terrorism.”

The oligarchs want you to be concerned about shoplifting shampoo at CVS, not their current smash-and-grab of an entire country.

i'm just a small-time lawyer but i think the way to play it politically would have been to say, "Trump has promised unconstitutional prosecutions of a long list of his perceived enemies. to prevent this abuse of office i am today issuing pardons to [everyone Trump has singled out]," Hunter included.

I remember front stoops. They brought a neighborhood community together. We need them on elder housing as well to reduce isolation and loneliness, which is rampant among the elder communities.

Time to give @bluesky props. As I write this, there are 560 quotes and replies to the post below.

Of those only 4 call me names and give me shit. About 15 do the same towards Trump.

The remaining 541 are on topic and add value.

It’s a battle of political leverage. Who can use tariffs, retaliatory tariffs or sanctions to create more political pain for the other leader. Forcing them to capitulate or face undesired consequences.

How crazy would it be if China, Mexico and/or Canada initiated tariffs before Trump took office
From your standpoint as a businessman and manufacturer, is there any sense behind this? Especially now that other countries are threatening tariffs of their own in retaliation. But that doesn't make sense cause it would mean raising their own taxes.

My neighbors in this small New England town I live in still have their Trump/Vance signs on their lawns. One has a big flag with "Trump" plastered over it. I keep a low profile.

I live in a small town next to a town with a large Jewish population. The Hebrew School and Jewish Community Center now have armed guards on their premises. The Jewish people who live around the world are not responsible for the atrocities of the Israeli Zionist government. Stop the hate.
