A panel from X-Men Legacy #248 which demonstrates both that seven days of bruising up Scott Summers in bed is enough to redeem one of Magneto's Acolytes. It also contains the phrase "God took less time than that to make the world!" So yeah, that happened. Comics are wild.

This one isn't quite as good, but I still think there is some interesting shading at work.
Two panels from the Free Comic Book Day: AXE Judgment Day comic book, that are meant to illustrate the resurrection process. The first shows Cyclops of the X-Men, nude, covered in dripping goo while someone holds his visor out to him. The second shows Cyclops from the back but only one vertical half to keep things tasteful, in front of a standing Emma Frost and Wolverine. There is significant shading and definition given to Wolverine's - ahem - midsection. There are captions reading "They have solved death." "They guard this secret well. The Island is a living sentry." "This mutant could smell anyone's presence" "This other mutant can sense the slightest thought." "There are few who would be able to walk unseen here." These captions are less relevant to the purpose of this post.

I've always liked this one. It's a bit more metaphorical but how else do you read that metaphor?
