Breaking quorum is no more an outre political power play than designing an extreme partisan gerrymander in the first place.
Abbott and Paxton are not inherently in a stronger legal position here.
It’s a political fight using the tools at hand.

This article about Dr Luke Kemp gives a way to look at the current world situation outside the framework of power politics and propaganda. It’s not about left vs right. More about egalitarianism vs zero-sum competition for resources. Very useful and important.

Architectural atrocity plopped into a space where it doesn’t and cannot fit, with absolutely no consideration for surrounding public environment. A desecration of the People’s House. Any “architect” involved with such a travesty must be permanently banned from the profession and laughed out of town.

Trump is currently the number one threat to life on earth.
Any hope of sustainability is pushed back by decades.
OK that sounds way too pessimistic.
We’ve got to resist and fight back any way we can. No one outside MAGA actually likes Trump. His stupid policy failures will be impossible to hide.

What Trump means by “Make America Great Again” is that he runs everything and demands obedience from all. (Don’t give it!)
And he’s stupid, corrupt, immoral, and doesn’t give a f*ck about the destruction he launches. Not even aware.
Yeah I know it’s been said over and over but I’m saying it again.

I’ve been spending the lat few months on a journey through the healthcare system — ERs, hospitals — being treated for severe back pain, which finally ended up in a diagnosis of multiple melanoma. OK there’s that, but I’m really overwhelmed by the diversity of the staff I meet — doing hard jobs +

First, the system is way understaffed, and Trump admin is making it worse.
