In 2003 American Rachel Corie was intentionally crushed to death by an Israeli military bulldozer. Then, there was no Hamas to blame. A stark reminder of a genocide that started too long ago and will continue even if Hamas disappears - unless WE stop it! www.theguardian.com/world/2024/s...

“Another colleague described his publicly professed racist and neo-fascist views. Yet another colleague described how, at a Cadet Force camp organised by the college, Farage and others marched through a quiet Sussex village late at night shouting Hitler-youth songs.”

The Labour Chancellor declares herself an eternal friend of a state committing a live-streamed genocide.

We are ruled by moral disgraces who are criminally liable for aiding and abetting one of the worst crimes of our age.

“Farage boats” is such a terrible catchphrase

No doubt, Starmer's advisors will think it's very clever based on their outstanding record, but all it will do is play in Farage's hands. It makes him unavoidable in what this government made its key issue

Appalling politics and appalling strategy

PM also says he does not believe Nigel Farage or Reform voters are racist In a response to Keir Starmer’s conference speech, Nigel Farage, the Reform UK leader, claimed yesterday afternoon that the PM’s comments about his party would put his activists at risk of attack from the “radical left”. In his interviews, Starmer rejected that claim. No, not at all. There is a political fight that has to be had, and it’s about the future of our country. This is a different fight to the traditional Labour/Conservative fight. You can see versions of this going on in many other countries across Europe. I think that if Reform were to gain power, they would tear our country apart and fundamentally change us as a country. We have seen the most extraordinary 48 hours of demonisation, and I’m going to say it again, incitement to violence against the man who is the bookmakers’ favourite to be the next prime minister. I am about to announce something you have been calling for and campaigning on, which is to ban fracking for good. You called for it, I’m going to do it, thank you for your campaigning. What an amazing result for our environment, our local communities, and the thousands of committed people and groups right across the country who’ve spent years fighting for fracking to be banned for good – including the many who signed 38 Degrees supporter Geoff’s recent petition. Not long ago, it felt like fracking might make a comeback, with Reform UK pushing to put it back on the agenda. But thousands of us stood up, demanded a permanent ban, and made our voices impossible to ignore. Continue reading...

A Labour Prime Minister. A LABOUR Prime Minister.
Pressed for details about what was blocking deportations of foreign criminals, Sir Keir cited Articles 3 and 8 of the ECHR - which ban torture and protect the right to private and family life respectively.

"But it's more than that," he said, pointing to the UN's Refugee Convention, Torture Convention and Convention on the Rights of the Child as potential barriers.
