I agree - it’s a depressing listen. I really didn’t want to hear that this is a worse situation than any other club has been in (bar Bury). Feels like there’s no way out unfortunately.

I think it’s just an utter lack of acumen on his part. Thinks that he can hold out for a deal to cover his losses. Day by day, the value is deteriorating. Currently we should be seen as a league one asset - and not an attractive one at that. The deck of cards is seemingly collapsing around us.

And finally - this was the last anyone has heard anything from the club. 8 days ago and counting

And this is not a “lone fan ranting” issue here. This is a demise that has taken a sudden turn. No-one at the club (including the non-playing staff as I understand) have been paid fully for May. @priceoffootball.bsky.social has featured this with an alarming frequency. Nothing coming from the club

Interesting. Regardless, we will have players who will not want to be here, no manager and no-one in the right mind would want to join. Surely the owner can see that he is sabotaging his own asset. If I were a prospective owner I’d be sitting back, waiting for a distressed asset to buy on the cheap.

Ok thanks for clarifying, this is useful. So in effect, if May goes unpaid, and June doesn’t happen on time, notice can be given on July 1st with a 15 day grace period.
