Ugh yes the infection is terrifying, but def good to get it out as soon as his bone can handle it. The Dr wasn't thrilled with the angle of his final heal, but she speculated it maybe the natural angle for him. It just puts him at greater risk for ACL damage, soooo we just try to not run too much 😁

So scary 😨 😫 Ollie's hardware started removing itself, so his wound wasn't healing either. All the pins had to come out, and then eventually the skin finally started to seal back up.

My friend who has lots of caterpillars is going to see if she sees similar things. If you ever get babies keep a look out 🧐 I had 3 or 4 wee ones create weird web balls and attach themselves. I can't find anything on it. Not parasites, not hibernating, nada...

Yeah all the littlest ones made this web ball thing. Once I detached them they started moving but they had been stationary for a day or 2. I want them moving now bc conditions are ideal now, not so much later this week. I've been bringing them in at night or whenever it's below 60.
