We got a larger tree this year and I didn’t anticipate that larger = heavier and I pulled a muscle wrangling it into the house. One day my dreams of a fake tree will come true!!

Shortening or butter for a pie crust? I’ve never bought shortening before but I’m wondering if it might be easier for someone who makes a pie 2x a year and struggles with crust each time.

I have a Subaru that has the “pause the engine” while idling option. I do a lot of city driving, so I guess it’s useful to save gas and I hardly notice it. Except today when my car SHUT DOWN completely in the middle of rush hour traffic.

My 8th grader played a freshman from her school in a tennis tournament and she had heard of my kid because of how good she is on the middle school tennis team 😍

Traveling for work and for the first time ever packed a larger suitcase and checked it (usually I gate check my overhead bag). What a revelation! Packing whatever I need! Walking through the airport is a breeze with just a backpack and purse!

I went on my lunch break to walk a rescue puppy who’s at a boarding facility. The puppy had no interest in walking and preferred to return to the facility ASAP thank you very much (I interrupted her nap time). Very rewarding 😂

Maybe it’s illegal to ride on sidewalks, but scooter folks riding in busy car lanes during the morning commute makes me so nervous for them.
