I miss having a job. Someone hire me to write something or analyze stuff.
I'm so happy that Britt Lower and Trammell Tillman won Emmys for their performances on #Severance last night. Their wins were so well deserved. To me, they're the best among equals.

And I love that Britt wrote "LET ME OUT" on the back of her speech. So geeky, so iconic.

CBS is dead to me as a network. It's obviously under fascist control.

Stephen Colbert's voice deserves to be heard. Real capitalists would keep it on air because it's highly rated.

Canceling Colbert and The Late Show was done for political reasons. #RejectCBS #CancelCBS

George Wendt died yesterday. You may know him better as Norm(!) from Cheers, which is still one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. Rest in peace, George.

And for those of you who partake, have a pint in his honor.

If you want movies made in America, tariffs aren't the answer. US productions have increasingly filmed in Canada and other countries because they offer tax incentives and cash rebates.

In fact, several US states have moved to offer such things on their own with great success.

Morning Bluesky.

Mark Carney’s Liberal Party has won the Canadian election, but it’s still too early to tell if he can form a majority government.

The Conservatives outperformed their polling but leader Pierre Poilievre may still lose his Ottawa seat.

This year’s White House Easter egg roll featured Pete Hegseth, voice cracking, in a state of extreme panic — desperately blaming the media and his own appointees for his latest scandals.

The inescapable fact is, reckless Hegseth has been exposed by members of his inner circle.

It's just a matter of time until Pete Hegseth gets Americans killed, if he hasn't already. And by "Americans," I don't just mean members of the military. He's a danger to all of us.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a member of SMART Union Local 100, a union for "Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers."

Trump is attacking the same workers doing the sort of jobs he says he wants to "bring back."

The entire labor movement needs to rally in defense.

This is much unlike Columbia, which is in the process of capitulating to all of the Trump administration's demands.

I finished S3 of Yellowjackets -- almost in one stretch, but I did take a nap.

That was a definite improvement over S2, although it was still missing the humor of the first season. Christina Ricci's wacky Misty needs someone like Juliette Lewis's sarcastic Natalie to bounce off of.

Not a single time in this article glorifying the need for sprawl to address the US's affordable housing crisis is there a mention of the vast transportation costs of sprawling living patterns. Nor is there mention of the fact that sprawl is directly linked to disinvestment in urban cores.
America Needs More Sprawl to Fix Its Housing Crisis
The word has become an epithet for garish, reckless growth — but to fix the housing crisis, the country needs more of it.
