Last time I went to Verona I hovered outside the courtyard, watching all the tourists crowding in & muttering loudly "It's not real, Romeo & Juliet were fictional characters, & it was built long after Shakespeare died!"

I am on holiday in the Cotswolds currently and visited Hidcote yesterday. A beautiful place.

Also did the Battle Trail walk, taking in key sites in the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury including the "Bloody Meadow".

Although the special effects seem dated now at the time they were cutting-edge & it was the most expensive children's TV ever made up to that time.
