Really excited to have a chapter in the UK edition of Someone Like Me, an anthology of writing by autistic women and gender minorities (me being nonbinary/genderqueer).

My chapter is titled 'Growing up with Monotropism and Weird Pride'.

Whenever I can slow down even a little and allow myself to follow my attention instead of always concentrating to focus and direct it, I feel so much better -- more relaxed, more creative, more satisfied, more productive (though the productivity shouldn't always have to be part of it).

I love this idea of enactivism as a lens to understand monotropism. So much about my environment and forced schedule has drastically impacted my experience of the world and my cognitive and emotional experiences due to my access (or lack thereof) to flow states.
