When we opened the gate to Violet’s & Rosa’s pen, Marjorie Morningstar walked in to check it all out. The 2 #mares let her pass by, then turned to follow her quietly. As the sun set, Violet stood beside her like a sentry helping her feel safe & welcome. #horses #rescuedoneright

Yesterday, Maurene Comey, who prosecuted the Epstein case, was summarily fired from SDNY. Her letter to colleagues pulls no punches. "Fear is the tool of a tyrant, wielded to suppress independent thought."

I suggested to my wife that it seemed pointless to continually fill the bird feeder, as the squirrels always empty it in hours. Behind me, my son said, “It’s in your interest for the squirrels to be on your side when the Great War begins,” and ate another spoonful of Froot Loops.

NEW: I'm hearing from some federal workers that - at least at the VA - RNs, LPNs, and NA's that were offered a job that had been rescinded, are being re-offered their jobs over the next one to two days. DM me if you receive a rescission of the rescission. The pushback is WORKING. Thank you to all!
