Also experimenting with wheat, so I'll consume some sort of wheaty thing I love and see what happens. Under a doc's supervision, of course. I'm going to ask for some pain meds though because I've been raw dogging these excruciating joint pain flares for months.

I wouldn't want to either. I probably won't go now. I was looking forward to it, but driving out there in the dark as well with the roads .... na. I'm good. After slides and floods there are a lot more potholes etc.

They have a sweet deal as well. If they lose that, I'm not sure what they'll do.

My mortgage is less than 1/3 of the average rental listings in Vancouver. It's insane out there.

Awesome #5: Finding a new cookbook that has a lot of gluten free recipes. Digging into Epiphany Bakes today while I'm baking. (I managed to snag it on sale for Black Friday)

Awesome #4: SOOOO grateful I did the big Christmas shop at Costco in Abbotsford the week before the valley flooded and the highway closed.

Awesome #2: Today is baking day! Mini cheesecakes and shortbread are on the list.

Awesome #3: booked the spare room in our condo building for my son & his wife for the holiday. It's perfect for all of us! A little more space, they can have some privacy, I can sleep in my bed (I have a 1 bed condo)

I always worry about my son & daughter in law & if they lose their rental apartment... finding anything affordable would be near impossible and I wouldn't be able to help them either

I'm hoping to see it Friday (have to drive about 45 min) but with the flooding, road closures, etc. I'm not sure I'll be able to.
