Israel assassinated journalist Anas Al-Sharif and his entire Al-Jazeera TV crew in Gaza today.

CPJ warned of Israeli smear campaign against him, but few Western media outlets or journalists spoke out in defense of their Palestinian colleagues. Their silence is cowardly and shameful.
