I don’t know who needs to hear this but the American police system was literally built on the policing of Brown and Black bodies.

This is nothing new. We’ve always known that our very existence was a threat to the system.

It feels as if we’re living frozen in time. Between a world we can no longer sustain and a future that’s asking us to wake up. Where nothing feels real anymore. Where everyone is waiting for something to shake things up. Because things can no longer go on this way.

I don’t think I’ve ever met a more hectic reader than myself. I started reading 14 books in the past two months and just started three more in the past two days. Have I finished reading any of them? No. Am I confused and trying to read them all at the same time? You bet.

I’m not impressed by the celebrities who just decided to start speaking up on Palestine. It says everything about them. They do so now because it’s acceptable. You don’t get a round of applause for saying overdue words when the blood has dried and the souls have reached heaven.
