Christmas season is about to end and Wargame Santa arrived with one late gift, the one from me to myself: Warlord’s Black Friday mystery box. I got the Forward to Berlin Soviets and a T-34/76!

And just like that I've added a whole other army to my pile of shame.

Progress report on the 5th Battalion, 191st Death Korps Assault Korps. Tanks almost finished; artillery about half done; 7 out of 10 platoons complete. Here are about 15,000 pts, 550 infantry, 30 tanks, and 15 guns. The Imperial Guard stands ready to defend the Imperium!
A huge Death Korps of Krieg army laid out on the tabletop. The front section includes 42 infantry squads (10 troops each). There are command squads, grenadiers, 30 heavy weapons, and 13 artillery guns. The rear half includes about 20 tanks and a Thunderbolt heavy fighter. The uniforms and camouflage are all grey and green. A close up of a line of heavy stubborn and quad launchers, in front of Basilisk tanks and Hellhound flamethrower vehicles. Another view of the platoons. Ranks of close packed artillery tanks, support vehicles, and battle tanks.

I’ve assembled the minis from my #DeadMansHand starter box, and the funny thing is that my copy came with 10 female and 5 male gunfighters, instead of the other way round. I actually like that.

My brother is the best 24/7, but he really knocked it out of the park this year when he gifted me the Dead Man’s Hand starter along with a nifty N7 mug. Thanks bro!

Hope everyone had/will have a nice time with their loved ones, and maybe had something hobby-related underneath the tree.

End-of-year wrap-up: I had two major projects this year, one was #GuardsofTraitorsToll. The variety of minis made it really fun to build and paint. Also a good excuse to finally paint my Rohan houses.
