So my neighbour's house is being sold and in case our neighbour's chop the tree's down I've planted evergreen citrus/cherry guava/feijoas(that I grew from seed now 1.5m tall) along the fence line. Edible and evergreen to maintain my privacy and fruit supply. We'll see.

Thanks for explaining this. When I first heard my in-laws talking about Willy Wagtails I incorrectly assumed that this was another Dropbear legend, leveled against a then gullible AONZer. Then I realised they were being genuine. I never know what to expect really.

It is better to own your limitations, they aren't necessarily permanent, that is what learning is for. On the other hand, I was told by my clinical boss once "To fake it until you make it", as a word of encouragement, and it made me triple check myself even more. I'd rather be a slowpoke than fraud.
