Oh my god. I love Marthanalia!! I do Katmas (because Dec 23) and encourage all my friends to buy themselves ridiculous gifts, eat and drink delicious things, and wear all their favorite things at the same time. I am DELIGHTED to learn of a similar holiday!!!

It’s been a frustrating, scary, exhausting day on so many fronts, so I’m just gonna post some of my dahlias. This new hobby has been a lovely bit of joy in my life this year.

This guy let me hold him like a teddy bear when he wasn’t sleeping on my head. And he told us about his urinary blockage in time to get him to the vet to save him. He told us about the cancer too, but it was faster than we were. Absolutely no question he loved us and his canine siblings.
