Still using Storygraph to track my reading lists. Joined the January pages challenge - maybe this year I will complete it! Also joined a book cover challenge because I had fun with one last year. And started my personal goal. Trying for 25 books.

Finished All the Horses of Iceland. It was an interesting snapshot of an Icelandic trader who sets off with Jewish merchants through the steppes (I think). Ghosts, horses, war. Quick read. Not my favorite of the year, but did bring the read list up to 22, which is a lot more than previous years.

Still reading Book & Dagger. The professors and librarians have finished spy school and are getting started in their first assignments. It is slow going but just because there is so much. The writing style is keeping my attention (which doesn't always happen with nonfiction).

I have been there too. I grudgingly accept that I can't make my parent do anything they don't want to do. Much like they can't make me do anything (which they grudgingly accept).

I think they know that it's cheaper in the long run to have stupid customers than to spend the time and money and salaries to make it better.
