got around to scanning THE LONG DARK, a riso mini about a knight navigating the perils of the mega dungeon he’s taken refuge in. will share a couple pages

nice!! hellbound heart is in my tbr but i read the first few books of blood anthologies a couple years back and loved how just deeply nasty they were. there’s a lot of good stuff but “in the hills, the cities” is an all timer short if you don’t have time to sit down with them

have been desperately looking for this old erotic Spanish comic I stumbled on almost 10 years ago called "El secreto de Frankenstein" and I'm so happy to report I finally found it

people say this a lot but it bears repeating, especially if you live in a place with a lower population density a few dozen or a hundred people going hard on something can go a long way, it’s how conservatives have been getting their way for ages

check out what’s going on with your schoolboard (especially if you’re a parent!), find out what your local libraries need and what would help, look at how budget allocation works on your state and local level to see if you can join with other people to advocate for funding and access

re: these discussions around banned books week, getting involved in your local political landscape will do way more to prevent book bannings and ensure access to materials than buying a few books for yourself! this is something i’ve been remiss in but i’m looking forward to being active here in ohio
