Week 11 for 52Frames is 'Egg'. mmm, wasn't sure what to do with this one at all. I mean, how many ways can you photograph an egg? Seems there are many ways, once I saw what others were doing.

Saw these gorgeous Tawny Frogmouths at the local lake park yesterday. Hiding in the shadows, I saw their form, and zoomed in with my P950.

Thrilled to get 1st place in my photography club's latest Open competition. This is a lake at sunset, taken on a camping holiday last year. Taken with a P950.

I've come across judges, in the past, who poo poo images taken with bridge cameras. But this judge appreciated the image for what it is.

Lotus Flower - I visited the Blue Lotus Water Gardens today. Always a lovely place to visit. Was a stunning clear and still day.

Got this shot of a Eurasian Coot at a local wetlands today. Although it looked like it was in water, based on the drops from its beak, I'd say it was still in mud. Love the reflection too - do you?

Late Summer in Australia. Our fig tree is laden, the birds have turned up. Here a Silvereye feeds its juvenile from an almost ripened fig. In my garden.

Check out this shot. When I saw this on my computer it became more than just a bee and flower - see the pollen in the air. Amazing! Something you don't see with your eyes but the camera can capture it. Taken with my Nikon D7100 at 1/1000.
