I have very strong family values after basically not having one this year
Having found a new family i love, now actually joining is a pain because of societal monogamy
Yeah i get it but it's just yet another crucial part of my identity, who i am, being held back because of everyone else

Im not saying I want equal rights for "all wives and husbands". I understand why the systems in place are built around having 1 spouse. But there are provisions we could get that totally make sense: access to hospital data, cohabitance, or removing the limit of 1 partner for adoption and immigration

The state of non-monogamy rights in the world rn is like gay rights in the 1950s. No recognition anywhere except some county in Utah where the courts don't care. People live underground, we get accused of being cheaters, lousy partners, greedy and promiscuous. Excited to go to our Stonewall in 2050
