Oh I will never forget the time I had to write a 20 page academic research paper on the utilization of the Book of the Dead in the Old Kingdom of Egypt and didn’t even finish reading my sources until about 48 hours before the due date.

I got like a 98% and aced the class.

No one noticed that we didn’t have a ring bearer at first. We did the whole “omg WHO HAS THE RINGS” bit to its fullest extent.

Then our ring BEARer came running up “late” with the rings. It was perfect.

I also want to make it abundantly clear the extent I will go to if I commit to the bit. We had our wedding at the indoor facility and bar for our local pro soccer team. @puckacab.bsky.social and I met as supporters in the stands, so it made sense.

If it would have been possible, I would have given anything for Swerve to be the ring bearer at my wedding, with Nana following behind dancing to his song as he had his own entrance at the ring portion of the ceremony.
