The monarch caterpillars stripped the narrowleaf milkweed and are now gone. I grew 11 plants from seed and counted 12 caterpillars at one point. The caterpillars are gone and new leaves are growing on the plants now.

Elegant Clarkia (Clarkia unguiculata) now blooming in my yard in Redlands, CA. Other patches have been blooming since December and are all one color and grew from seeds that dropped off plants last season. I planted these seeds in March and they are assorted colors.
