I've been told by many smart comms professionals that saying "I told you so" isn't a great strategy, but some of us really have been saying all along that the politics of young people are not as entrenched as polling (and election results) would have you believe!!!
Enten: "Trump has just fallen off a cliff when it comes to Gen Z. Trump's net approval in February of 2025 was +10. It's a drop of 42 points to -32. My goodness gracious."

I think the possibility of generational backlash is something we should take seriously, especially with young people. But the youth movement and its leaders, participants, and would-be participants need a different approach from all of us this time:

The CFPB ordered Navy Federal Credit Union to repay over $80 million to customers hit with allegedly illegal overdraft fees. Yesterday, the CFPB terminated the requirement they repay customers.

If the money isn't already out the door, Navy Fed isn't paying.
