For those folks who have been waiting to climb the pole and ring the “constitutional crisis” bell, it would appear we have arrived. Neither Judge Sorokin nor Judge Boasberg believed that he was signing a meaningless order, and both judges demanded compliance that never came.

America’s university presidents and leadership need to form a united front against the administration. They’re never going to be able to resist these cuts and this bullying alone but together they’d be a powerful pillar of the growing cross-societal resistance to the derangement of this admin.

Hearing that DOGE went into the Dept of Education today and shut down almost the entirety of the department's in-house research arm, Institute of Educational Sciences, cancelling contracts totally about $900m.

Democrats should be responding to all this the way Republicans would respond if Clinton/Biden/Obama just capriciously decided to shut down the Department of Defense by fiat. It’s a 20 alarm fire and the Democrats are responding like it’s a single matchstick.
