I'm not a liberal because I hate conservatives. Or want them dead. Or want generally bad things to happen to them. I'm a liberal because I care about people everywhere--young to old, immigrant to indigenous, people of all ethnicities, all genders, all classes. I want everyone to thrive. 1/2

Trump wants a thank you note from the starving children in Gaza. Maybe he should travel there and ask for one in person, see their faces, witness them dying. Maybe they can write one for him in blood.

I am feeling the tiniest bit of hope ballooning in my chest as I watch Carney's swearing-in ceremony. But don't worry; I will squash it back down. November taught me to fight but never hope. Still, Canadian unity is always lovely to behold. Elbows up, Canada. Nobody can ever rob us of our identity.

If Trump helps Russia take Ukraine, are we willing to consider the possibility that he and Putin have discussed Russia helping the US take Canada too? Cause I think we seriously need to consider that.
