It looks great! 🌸

3 years later mine is still waiting for its moment. For now it sits with the applesauce maker and egg boiler (which I do use!). One day I’m going to have happy pumpkin-shaped 🎃 muffins!

And a minor point but…they actually do have agency to make change. They are the board; they could do openly many of the things they secretly schemed for. Instead they tried to make things happen, but avoid all responsibility for the decision. Also not a good look.

Also a picture of secretive scheming, plotting, and pandering…anything and everything other than transparency and honesty to those they serve. It seems the only person they did feel some loyalty to was Youngkin and Trump. To be clear that’s not how BOV governance should work. Time to fix it.

Absolutely. And I didn’t start going until last year. Only been a handful of times….but the blueberry biscuit things and the little chicken nuggets (bo bites) are top notch. And now I crave them.

Head over to their sparse website and see that their only objective is to rename schools after confederate leaders and raise money to perpetuate a modern day lost cause narrative.

The NAACP is fighting back. And I applaud them for it.

And this is all without even diving into the Dem. reasons to support clean energy.

For those thousands of folks who now face job uncertainty at Christmas due to Trump’s chaos - I’m sorry. For all of us Virginians who now face grid reliability issues…I hope we take action in the 2026 elections.

And for what? To shield and artificially prop up a dying industry that by design will have a finite end date? Coal doesn’t last forever. Why wouldn’t we want to encourage and develop options that have greater longevity and just as much economic upside and job creation?
December 22, 2025 at 6:19 PM
If we continue to hamstring our own clean energy production we are outcompeted by China (the world leader) for both tech advancement and profit, we miss out on one of the fastest growing job markets in the world and we deny consumers choice for affordable energy.

(Also if anyone has it, I’d love a running list of all those who have made a Vote of No Confidence, statement of disapproval, or request for them to stop). 👇

They needlessly delegitimized what could have been a valid presidential selection process by rushing in a (presumably partisan) candidate at the 11th hour.

We deserve better. We deserve a legitimate search by a legitimate Board.

I’m looking forward to demanding exactly that in the New Year.

Also got a big heap of some VERY wishful messaging by our outgoing governor as he presented his proposed budget….

My understanding is this is being carried as legislation this year

Paging @scvanvalkenburg.bsky.social

I’m not up to full speed on details. There was talk of putting it on my distributed generation (solar) bill but I think it’s gonna end up stand alone.
