yeah the repeatedly failed state legislature candidate who moved here in 2020, the right wing radio host who faildoxes people under a pseudonym, and the candidate Allison trounced for her spot on the Board are all trying to make this a thing. really think it’s important to nip this in the bud.

want to boost this. guarantee TPUSA is going to try and stack it, but they simply do not have the local numbers to do so *if* we recognize it’s coming and respond in kind. I think it’s critical to set a tone that we will back our local officials against disingenuous right wing bullshit.

I plan to bring back my bill with Creigh Deeds to give law enforcement the tools they need, and have requested, to respond to guns on campus.

Our bill has been vetoed twice, but 3rd time is the charm. And 2026 feels like the year.

Right now guns are not allowed on campuses, but it’s an administrative rule…leaving police with little recourse to quickly investigate or remove guns on campuses. Guns are in the same category as a banned microwave or hot pot.

I am horrified by the assassination of Charlie Kirk today.

Adam and I are praying for his family and the entire Utah Valley University community who witnessed this horrific act. Political violence has absolutely no place in this country. This violent criminal must be found and brought to justice.
