Oh this looks super cute! I’ve been wanting to read more and in need of a better looking app to help track it. Signing up now.

This looks great! Will there be a recording? It’s 4am my local time 😔

Love this. I’m for it but with a big caveat that you still gotta do the thinking work first. Get clear on the problem, the requirements and then start to prototype solutions. Sometimes the prototype helps you realise there are things you need to change, but I’m still all for having a plan first.

Oh awesome! I was curious if you’d need to run multiple account or if that would be enough. Good to know! Thanks!

Perhaps that’s what Shopify is trying to test here as well. But calling it a coding session for a PM interview feels like it might scare a lot of good folks off..?

Congrats! I’ve only recently started using Substack (and Bluesky), but your name is one I see all the time. Love your writing!

Communication, initiative/resourcefulness and ability to learn are probably my top three at the moment for product and design roles.

If someone has those skills then they can learn to build prototypes, and tackle most tasks.

This is so interesting. Of all the skills I want a product manager to have, writing code and building prototypes is not at the top of the list. It does feel like the lines are starting to blur between roles which can sometimes be good, but I also wonder what’s the cost…

Have a look into Odyssey planning. Although I think you might do it already? I recently tried using ChatGPT for it as well and it was interesting to see how similar it was to mine for some parts and helped clarify what I don’t want.

Awesome! Thank you!

Yep. Me too. I’ve been trying out allowing auto allow on simple projects which has sped up dev time a lot, but have trust issues on some projects where I want to keep a closer eye. I wish there was a sound alert or something to let me know once it’s finished or waiting input.

Oh nice. Curious which plan you are on? I’ve recently started using Claude Code and am finding myself hitting the rate limits if I work for more than an hour or two.

Haha I watched some of the Anthropic courses with my 4 year old the other day. Curious to see if you’ve done that one too and how the google one compares?

I just rewatched The Matrix and had the exact same feels. T2 is up next in my rewatch list.
