Pleased to share that my chapter on Neurodivergent Parents in Higher Education has been published in Neurodivergent Education and Lifelong Learning. As a neurodivergent parent navigating academia myself, this contribution is especially meaningful. #Neurodivergent #HigherEducation #Research

At this dark time of year, I think back to one of my fabulous solo walking trips - this one along the UK’s Jurassic Coast along the South West Coast Path. Just me, my backpack, the path and the sea 🥰.

My PhD work explores how autistic women’s cumulative trauma intersects with social marginalisation, inequality and identity. It considers the process of reclaiming neurodivergent agency within ongoing social stigma.

I’m deep in analysis of my PhD research on Trauma, support and identity among late diagnosed autistic women with significant trauma experiences. As an autistic/ADHD researcher, it is both intense and validating to engage with the narratives.
