Just finished "Horses" by Santa Ragione. Excellent game; thoroughly enjoyed. You get dumped into the ostensible horror quickly, but there's a deeper horror that (no spoilers) reminded me of both Fascist Italy & the state of "horses" in modern labor. Again, do them a favor and play their great art.

I know it's not a new observation, but I get very frustrated by how cis men regard trans women as prostitutes on an essential level. Part of it is sexism, but with cis women, they'll couch their disrespect in feigned interest and dialogue. Trans women don't even get those meager scraps.

I was at the anti-oligarchy rally yesterday in LA. There's a lot to be said, but what really struck me was how immaculate the vibes were: 36k people, and *everyone* there was kind, polite, and helpful to the people around them.

Buddhism has the cachet of being the "intellectual's religion" in the US, and while I think its foundational principles tend to encourage more philosophical thought, the older I get, the more irrational and exploitative the religion seems to me.
