I'm a foster parent so this isn't even my only story like this. Last week the thing keeping her from getting her kids was OWNING BEDS, and rather than help her, her social worker ignored her for weeks and I had to rent a goddamn trailer and take a 7 hour round trip to the rez to bring her things.

I picked her up from the sober house, I talked to the house manager who said she relapsed, I drove her to the ER the next day, we cried together in relief when it was negative because she couldn't figure out how it could be possible to have a positive result. I'm going to be mad forever

Kyra is the best, and I watched her kids for a weekend once to try to keep her family together, I am beyond heartbroken that they're being torn apart again

I met her because her first sober house was trying to take her kids away over a false positive UA - I drove her to the ER myself and got another one run, she was clean, and they tried to keep her kids away for 30 days anyway. She has been THROUGH IT. She doesn't deserve this bullshit.
