I keep a 1x1.5m sheet of mdf on my studio wall that I treat like a giant sketchbook page - it has seen hundreds of layers of paint.

Sometimes, like now, I get a bit attached to it and won’t paint over it for a while - so I’m taking a moment to document it on here before I move on 💖

The Landsat archive is absolutely chock full of images that could easily be mistaken for abstract paintings - it’s worth a look if you’re looking for creative inspo, or even just to marvel at our beautiful earth 🫶

I just realised that I’ve been so busy chatting Onyx Storm and Star Wars on here that I hadn’t shown any of my art yet!

I’m an abstract painter obsessed with the physical process of painting - I’m a bit of an inspiration magpie, although my biggest inspo comes from landsat photography & mineralogy!

The treasure hunter/pirate movie vibes, world building, Jude Law, old republic lore, practical effects, Jude Law… it all brought me so much joy that I cried after the last episode lol

I discovered reading for fun at 25.

I used to think reading anything other than self-help books was a waste of productivity (cringe)

..Until a friend gave me my 1st romantasy book.

The biggest surprise? Fiction has given me more joy & taught me more life lessons than self help books ever did <3
