Ahhhhh. Boatdog has the hang of canal life. Do let us know if ever oop north and we’ll bring Alf to meet you. He’ll be at the Great North Run dispensing professional warm up advice and cheering everyone - esp Alistair- on from the sidelines. He has taken to domestic life like a duck to water!

I was in Wentworth (when breeze-block was on trend!) in 1984-5 and loved it! Can’t remember if it was C block -now demolished- but it was the furthest from the JCR and closest to the Stray, where we sledged (on purloined shower curtains)! Happy times!
