That little black spec on the right hand side of this infographic is the total budget of the NWS. How is eliminating positions that exponentially increase economic dividends through enhancing commerce and mitigating/preventing disasters saving money or eliminating waste/fraud?

Thinking about the good people of @noaa and @nws today. Such a dark day for our nation and our safety.

This administration has convinced half the country that the real problem isn’t billionaires who evade taxes and collect government handouts but the working class who pay taxes and get nothing in return.

Since they love to tout how much they benefit from our taxpayer funded products and services, we look forward to @accuweather.com's support during this trying time!
