I love all the reels about cooking a turkey. Cooking a turkey is really pretty easy to do - tell me about your sides please. Stuffing, candied yams, squash. Those are the items to be excited about.

Rough day today. C is emotional about his mom and in NY. We are doing everything right, but hard choices. Mom is on a waiting list now for memory care. Tough choices and we live out of state. Great family stepping up. C and I have been through a lot in 42 yrs so we’ll get through this. ❤️

Peeps - PSA announcement. If you are a senior or know of someone who is and needs assistance of any kind, please contact your county Office of the Aging. They can set up Meals on Wheels, transportation for doctor appointments, housekeeping and so much more. They are a tremendous support system.

Double batch of Chicken lentil veggie soup on stove. Been craving it all week. This will be my lunch all week with enough for freezer for a few. Chicken bones and veggie scraps in slow cooker for making broth. Now I’m hoping to watch some football

Chicken soup with lots of veggies. Added tumeric - since I’m so achy in my joints. Lunch for work tomorrow for dept. I’m keeping a bit aside for my lunch too on Tuesday 😀

At Planet Oil for Cs car. Oil and transmission flush. They always insist on showing me the color of the fluids. Sorry, but I don’t know what color they are suppose to be when new. I’m just glad this place is so great.

Got to work this AM - realized no phone and no badge. Luckily, someone let me in the building at 6:45 and I got security guard to get me into my office. But truly, I need my phone for everything. But I need 2FA DUO for everything I do.

I’m so over this week. Still working to complete this regular October project. Long hours. And with this weather - my knee is a killer! Had to dig out the cane for tomorrow.
