You’d think glockenspiel wouldn’t be _too_ different to piano, but what’s throwing me is that all the … keys? … are the same colour, which I know sounds dumb …

Three-hour carols rehearsal today! These group of musicians only gets together once a year for this, & considering we haven’t played together in 12 months, I reckon we sound pretty good! Here’s a snippet of O Come, O Come Emmanuel:

Ebisu Tower ferris wheel, Dotombori, Osaka.
It goes around the outside of the Don Quijote building. You go up to the 3rd or 4th floor & buy a ticket to ride it, & they take a photo when you get into one of the cars, which they sell to you later as a souvenir. (Yes, I bought it!) So goofy but fun 🤩

They said I was eligible for another gift, so I finally got the coffee mug (even though I don’t drink coffee). I think I’ll take it to work.

Two days of 29°C false summer nonsense last week, but today, we’re back to winter 😒
IMHO, Spring in Sydney is essentially just wearing the other seasons as trench coats, but with lashings of pollen.

Today was New & Improved Routine #2 with Stephanie, which meant three bars.
This is ridiculous.
Thankful for one of the regulars who took pity on me & helped me pack up at the end.

Today = audio editing + 4hr team planning meeting + team lunch + escape room. Given three out of the five of us had never done one before, I thought we did pretty well! They gave us badges for completing it at the end 😊
