Honestly not sure why so many people are upset in regards to the Peacemaker finale. Except for the final cliffhanger (and I guess Keith in Earth-X), pretty much everything got some form of closure. The new developments about the DCU were cool. My favorite episode of the season.

Had the opportunity to try the new Pick-2 Draft format for Magic. Honestly, it was a lot of fun! Went by super fast and I appreciated the simplicity of there being a tiny pod and only five archetypes.

I have some issues with the new Spider-Man set, but it's perfect for this format.

I was incredibly skeptical of the DC Absolute comics, but they really did knock it out of the park. Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman have all been 10s - some of the best Big 2 comics I’ve read in years!

Cool series of interviews w/ Peter Adkison discussing the history of D&D 3rd edition with some of the developers. There are a lot of hidden gems on the Gen Con YouTube page.

Biggest takeaway was that the D20 system was originally for a proposed Dominaria RPG.

Have not seen Alien: Earth, but I did see a clickbait article today saying it forever altered the series canon by ignoring Prometheus and Covenant - apparently there are Xenomorphs that predate David's experiments.

I'm a big fan of those prequel movies and let me tell you this...

Watching the fifth season of the Doctor Who revival for the first time since it aired. Honestly? Not my favorite DW, but I am impressed by how modern it feels compared to Seasons 1-4…despite that it all came out 15 years ago.
