What I didn't know was that Jonathan Tweet was developing a Dominaria RPG (Dominaria, then called Dominia, being MTG's main story setting at the time) and that this is where he'd prototyped the D20 system before being placed on the 3E team with the guys who had come over from TSR.

I had heard that one of the pitches made with the TSR acquisition by WotC was that there could be a crossover between Magic: the Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons, but this idea was eventually shot down because the staff hated the idea of "crossing the streams" so to speak.

Never, not once, did I ever assume that David's Xenos were the very first ones. We see stone carvings of ancient Xenomorphs! David created Xenomorphs, but he didn't create the *first* Xenomorphs, and I don't think there's anything implying he did.
