I went through a rabbit hole of looking for the first TV I remember interacting with as a kid in the late 80s. I remember it was Zenith, woodgrain, and had a number pad on the right side panel instead of dials. The 1984 SA1997W4 System 3 is the closest thing to my memory. Year and model may be off.

I shovelled the snow yesterday, but almost forgot to make a clear path for the garbagepeople to access the bins from the street to the sidewalk coming later today. Made sure my adjacent neighbours had their paths cleared too.

To be clear, the finch light rail being shut down because of snow in Canada is nuts. I personally had to dig my household out of probably thousands of pounds of it and it wasn't fun but this is a literal rail system! Just feels like an extension of the mismanagement.

I can either have clean air in my room via my HEPA purifier, or a mid-range humidity in my room via my humidifier. I can't have both without the humidifier mist going into the air purifier and wrecking the filters I recently replaced.

I seem to be noticing people rummaging into the recycling bins on my street this evening for glass and aluminum cans. I think most of them missed the memo that the bi-weekly recycling day shifted by a week, and that they were emptied out yesterday.

Although I'm not going again this year, it's nice to see direct flights from Toronto YYZ to Osaka KIX resume for the third year (from Jun to Oct). I thought it was temporary just to prepare for the World Expo that finished up a few months ago. My guess it alleviates the flight load from Tokyo.

Aaaand that's it for the prices of my gas fill-ups for the past five years. Filled ~125 L less and saved ~$475 than last year. The big drop last spring was due to the carbon tax removal. 2022 was such BS looking back.
