These look like the gun ship versions of the cybertruck. Do they really look like that?

"White" is complex. In the South in the 70's I ran into racism against Italians that was just a tad less racist than against Blacks. They were on the same spectrum, it was a matter of degree. I'm sure those same folks would consider South Asians to be on the non-white side.

Interesting! Was this the British influence? I can't believe that whiteness itself has inherent human value. And (if I may pump you for more info) within the group is there a distinction based on color? Are some darker-skinned Brahmin considered not "white enough"?

1969 Berkeley campus, free showing of short films by Lazlo Molly-Nagy. His documentary on lobster fishing starts up and the film is backwards, was not rewound. Audience insisted on playing as is, with lobster nets returning them to the sea. Surreal

My first thought: holy hell! My second thought: how long will it take to get through the customs/border line? What will they do to people who can't remember their Facebook password?

Just to reiterate: this might well be BS, but it's elaborate BS. Musk, Bezos, Schmidt and several others are already on the "data centers in space" train. Or rocket. Or whatever.

After all, these people have been selling digital God. Why not data centers in space?

Presumably they are also removing the books from their catalogs. Instead, I'd like to see the books remain in the catalog with a banner (location field?) saying: REMOVED BY ORDER OF ... . Users can learn that the books exist, just not here.

Care work is the quiet engine of this country, and our politics have never risen to meet the people who hold us through childhood, disability, illness, and aging.

He keeps “acing” these cognitive tests, as if they were the SAT or something like that, as opposed to some diagnostic to determine if 5150ing the rat bastard is the best course of action for his and our safety.
