I dislike the song “Do you hear what I hear?” - repetitive, militaristic, advocates for a king dictating your religion. But mostly because, “A child, a child, shivers in the cold. Let us bring him silver and gold. Let us bring him silver and gold.” Wouldn’t a damn blanket be more appropriate?

A happy place from this summer, Dent Island, Desolation Sound, BC

Piper the dog and Ticklemore (left cat) cooperate in my trying to take a nice photo. Upon seeing me with my phone getting ready to take a photo Huckleberry (right cat. definitely the right cat) turned his back on us, declining to participate in a joint photo. He had no further statement.

Notepad, which I cheerfully use to take notes, make lists, etc now apparently has a spell checker built in. This is a Step Too Far.
