Hi. Besides being a lawyer, I'm a passionate overthinker and a wellness enthusiast. I share evidence based tools and strategies to help you live your dream life @keepupwithkaur.com
Someone once told me, the external circumstances are no my in your control. Most likely, they’re not going to change no matter what you do. The key is to fix yourself so well that none of the bullshit bothers you.

I highly recommend Sanjay Barus ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. One of my favourite memoirs. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Endings are usually sad because they are unexpected. There’s no closure. With year endings, you get a chance to say a proper goodbye and start afresh. How great is it to get a new chance every 365 days to clear your slate and go for it.

I like to extend the 25 minutes to 45 when I get in the working grove. 25 minutes seem to short. This is my version of the Pomodoro technique.

Research indicates that self-aware candidates are more likely to succeed in their roles compared to the ones whose weaknesses are also her strengths in some twisted way.

If you know you're bad with numbers, you’ll address that by asking for help, double-checking, or delegating appropriately.

A candidate who acknowledges her flaws and shares her experiences of failure with confidence is often more self-aware than one who offers responses such as:
I work too hard.
I can’t miss a deadline.
I take too much responsibility.
I'm too critical, which leads me to overwork in order to improve.
