Yesterday evening, I've been dumpster diving. I noticed that the local restaurant had thrown out a huge pumpkin they had used on the doorstep display. I've made broth, roasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin pasta sauce, pumpkin mash, roasted pumpkin soup, and pumpkin gluten free bread with it. 😁🙏

Oh no, I hope the young one is better soon. What an a$$hat unplugging the hepa's. It's controlling behaviour and not alright. I know it's so difficult to remedy, especially when linked to anxious behaviours. Take care. This flyer is a great care regime against Covid.

Low wages and the fact most people have stopped mitigating against airborne pathogens, means that I have to do lots of repairs myself. This week's repair was to fix the hole in the wall, where the fireplace used to be. Solidarity to those still trying to protect others. 🙌🙏

Happy Caturday! Slow start to the day here. It feels so wearisome constantly having to work so hard, when you live alone. Weekends over the last two years haven't felt like a restful time, as house repairs have to be done then. It'd be nice if there was more solidarity to protect each others health!

I've just looked up Portland, Oregon on Googlemaps (my US geography is terrible! 😜) You're literally at the furthest point from me in the world practically! 😂 This photo is just up the road from where I live, it's so beautiful here. I'm the only masker in my local area & keep leading by example! 😁

Hear hear. This week, on several occasions, I've been out and cleared the street of all the fallen leaves. It doesn't just benefit me, with looking nicer outside my house. It makes it safer and usable for all those less able than myself. People think I'm mad, but it makes things feel so much nicer.😁

God, my @flomask.bsky.social is rubbish at protecting me from aerosols, don't know why I bother. 😜😁 I'd much rather breath all that dirty air. It's so 2019 to try and prevent sanding dust. I should have relied on thoughts and prayers. 😂

Morning Kate, I totally relate to this. Sending love. This was the view from my bus home this morning. No one to give me a lift having dropped the car at the garage, and such an infrequent bus service, I had to leave home at 6.20am! It's tough doing everything alone! x
