This isn’t fearmongering — it’s reality. Hospital-acquired COVID can delay care or cost you your health — even your life.

Infection control measures — masks, ventilation, testing, and staff/patient protections — should be standard care in every healthcare setting.

COVID vaccines do not prevent infection. They merely prevent severe illness, hospitalization, or death from the acute infection. They do that so well that they often prevent people from even having symptoms. But you still get the virus and it still damages your brain and every system in your body.

I'm concerned. I felt we were lucky to dodge the final mutation last flu season. I'm not feeling as optimistic going into this one. With the CDC a shell of its former self and RFKJr running everything, it'll be a horror show if/when it happens.

Per CDC source: At internal leadership meeting this afternoon, it was shared that 1,257 people were RIF'd at CDC. Number may not be final. Apparently, chief of staff was unaware that RIFs were going to occur so not clear who is making decisions. (Short 🧵)

A 15 year old boy with autism went missing earlier this week

He was selling fruit with his family in Springbranch when he disappeared

They filed a missing person’s report & begged the public to help find him

Turns out he was in a Houston ICE detention facility

They kidnapped a disabled child!

Even when people have been repeatedly ill, and I've warned them about the fact that covid is airborne. They still attend indoor events unmasked.

I've been posting constantly on Facebook, with virtually zero engagement from friends. My family all think I'm nuts, and not 'living'. In the UK, very few are interested in protecting themselves... It's seen as anxious and deranged behaviour. 😔 Most have bought into the propaganda.

Folks have been asking me which of the currently available UK #COVID vaccines are best, given that an older flavour, "KP2" is being given free on the NHS to the twelve or so people that remain eligible (😜🙄), whilst the newer "LP8.1" is available privately...

However, anyone with a larger stake in the game would, I believe, do better getting the LP8.1 vaccine because of the greater similarities that would likely confer better protection vs infection as well as boosting and tweaking protection vs severe disease.

So, we have a problem.

Low peaks still mean large numbers of people being cumulatively damaged. It's very tiring for those of us still masking, seeing people get repeatedly ill and still refusing to mask up!!
