Last weekend at Nepenthe.

This afternoon, we can see a big marine layer band all across the north bay, but it’s been bright and sunny here, even on the water. I love the bay fog, wherever I can see it.

Heading out on the bike soon, since the Big Sur half marathon team should have picked up all their stuff from the rec trail & beach road by now.

I’m always amazed at how much warmer Santa Cruz can be vs the south end of the bay—I don’t think we got over 72 today, and that’s still warm for November.

I saw him in *Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf* opposite Mercedes Ruehl—they were amazing.

I think it’s clearest on the sleeve—the textile’s base is netting, with the horizontal design element likely included in the manufacture.
