Reads a lot, former roadie/library guy/sometime book reviewer.

I like baseball, novels, baseball novels and, currently, James Robinson's Starman. I enjoy watching sport and I listen to all the podcasts. All of them.
Reminds me of the Mitch Hedberg joke with "Never go to Dr. Acula".

This is a good podcast, but it's super quiet, even with the volume all the way up.
Can you fix that at all, or is it maybe just a me problem? (Other podcasts are fine on my app, not sure what the specific issue is here).

Or so you think. But looking at the news, the papers, the world... Aren't we already in it?

But no-one thinks big cats are okay?

Saw this at the time, and went around giggling at it all day.
Pretty sure people thought I was nuts, but worth it.

It's a better explanation of Utd's recent form than any others I've seen.

Wait... Was the whole thing just a decade long killing spree?
This thing goes deeper than we all suspected!

Didn't they used to say something like that about the Sixties?

I like the wackier end of Marvel, mainly a 60s thing, where Tony would find himself, say, fighting a giant squid underwater. Whilst agonising about a love triangle he's in with Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan. It might sound dumb, but it was different.

And Dragons came from... Um... Not sure about that one. They're called fire drakes in Tolkien sometimes though. Maybe there's no explanation of their origins, like the intentional mystery of the ent-wives.

Gandalf is also originally the same sort of thing as the Balrog, I think. Maybe. It's all a bit confusing.

You could try going back to his older films... like Swept Away.
Don't, though.
