I remember this on the news at the time. The train crew were heroic, first running a mile through the tunnel to alert the signalman, and then returning to the train to uncouple from the derailed wagons and drive the front part of the train out.

I go past the site of Willenhall quite regularly, and that one is certainly looking like a station now.

Very interesting

With the daily cap it's both significantly cheaper than the Cardiff & Valleys ranger, and actually covers a bigger area.

There's a shelter at the end of my road in Cheltenham that hasn't had a bus stop there in over 25 years. I assume it stays to bring in revenue from the advertising board. It gets repaired promptly when vandalised as well!
