I agree. It’s a sad reality & I wish others would see this. Historically when fascist regime’s take place, they find a scapegoat, usually smaller groups of people easy to target & easy to get other people to also target too.

I just have this feeling with what we are seeing going on in the world right now & with Elons ties to the current USA government, we are going to see more censorship & more ways that country is going to push their fascist agenda. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Elon bought twitter-X.

They will begin to target other groups of people giving their “reasons”: the LGBTQ+ community, immigrants, POC, trans people, or anyone they deem as not fitting into what they want their platform to be. I think Elon bought that platform to make into his own playground to mess with people’s lives.

I am not sure, but I have had colleagues mention putting escort advertising websites in your links in your bio can possibly flag your account. I would assume it would be considered soliciting & promotion.

Trump has been made out to be the “bad guy” since the 1980’s. I remember as a kid in the 90’s reading my mom’s tabloid papers & about him cheating on his wives, & how bad of a person he is. No we can’t make a cashapp or venmo account being in Canada. We mostly use e transfer where we can directly transfer bank funds from one bank to another, no middle company. It’s weird the USA hasn’t done this because it makes digital money transfer super easy.

Do you have PayPal? In Canada we can’t use cashapp or venmo. I struggled for many years financially as a single mom & when my kids were little. My kids school used to give us gift cards for grocery stores & food hampers this time of year that really helped. I would be happy to pay it forward & help.

I also dislike Trump too. Both of those men are horrible humans & I do not want to see what they have to say. It’s nice the algorithm here only suggests in “discover” & seemingly where it’s based on your interests. This is how social media should be, & be politically neutral. It’s nicer here.
