I did live in the older toxic internet days.
I see the kids having emotional skills I am too cauterized to perform as easily as they do, no matter how much therapy I go through.

Lot of folks who I see mock it happen to have came of age during some of the older, toxic internet days too, so it's a genuine Boomer-esque "Back in my day, we took our licks and liked it!" mindset with them. Like we're the wusses for not acclimating to the constant chaos like they have.
